Connecting to Power SECTION 7 Reconnect the negative terminals of the two batteries to prepare power for the gauges and to test the fuses for power with a Test Light or multi meter. 1. Attach mini-expandable circuits to the power wires. Note: Be sure that two fuses are installed in each Expandable Circuit. 2. Remove the 20amp LTR 53 fuse. Plug the fuse into the open section of the expandable circuit for the yellow wire and reinstall in the fuse box for a constant 12-volt source. 3. Remove the 10amp MISC IGN 42 fuse. Plug the fuse into the open section of the expandable circuit for the red wire and reinstall in the fuse box for an ignition switched 12-volt source. 4. Remove the 15amp RT PRK 26 fuse. Plug the fuse into the open section of the expandable circuit for the orange wire and reinstall in the fuse box for a headlamp switched 12-volt source. 5. Connect the black wire to a reliable, clean and unpainted ground source such as the mounting bolt under the dash. 6. Secure any excess wiring with Zip-Ties. 7. Power up the truck to confirm the gauges are functioning properly and check for any leaks or loose sensor connections. With the vehicle running, cycle through the gears to help the Transmission Fluid circulate through the transmission (if transmission temperature gauge is installed). Top off any fluids if necessary. 8. Press the Color Change Button on the gauges to ensure they are working correctly. Note: MaxTow Gauges do not change colors. The button allows you to change the 3 Daytime and 3 Nighttime Brightness Levels. 9. Test drive your vehicle to ensure all gauges are functioning properly.
