The Fuel Pressure Gauge will be installed to the fuel filter housing using a Fuel Pressure Big Line Kit made specifically for 2010-2018 RAM Pre-Fuel Filter Applications. This kit allows you to gain access to the injection pump inlet for extremely accurate fuel pressure readings, and replaces the restrictive line from the fuel filter housing to the injection pump. The Big Line Kit includes a 30” Rubber Fuel Hose with a 3/8” Diameter, a 3/8” T-Fitting with 1/8-27 NPT Port, and hardware required for installation of the fuel pressure sensor: 2. Locate the fuel filter housing and drain the fuel, using a Phillips head Screwdriver, loosen the fuel bowl petcock. Note: Place a Drain Pan under the truck to catch any excess fuel. 3. Release the quick disconnect on the bottom of the fuel filter housing. 4. Release the quick disconnect on the injection pump. 5. Remove the injection pump feed line from the vehicle. 6. Trim the Big Line Hose to fit the length of the factory line. 7. Install the T-Fitting Adapter in the center of the Big Line Hose by lubricating and pressing firmly, or by using a Hose Assembly Tool. Note: If a Hose Assembly Tool is not available, you can use Soapy Water and a Rag to install the barbed fittings into the rubber hose. Lubricate the fitting and place on a Rag. Apply firm pressure on the hose until the hose is fully seated on the fitting. 8. Install the plastic quick disconnect by lubricating and pressing firmly or by using a Hose Assembly Tool. 9.
